Is there a fee for using GPS satellites?

No - There are no fees for using signals from GPS satellites. They are operated by the United States Department of Defense (DOD), which is funded by U.S. taxpayers.

Some companies might charge a fee for using their GPS receivers, but the signals being broadcast by the satellites are available free of charge.
